There are 3 main stages in a typical web design project:

1. The Onboard: First, book a free discovery call so we can discuss your project and the ways I can help you. Following the call, I’ll provide a proposal document detailing the project scope, timeline, deliverables, pricing, and payment terms.

2. The Design: Once the proposal is accepted and initial deposit is paid, the project will officially begin. The design phase takes place in stages, with feedback collected throughout to ensure the website is aligned with your goals and moving in the right direction.

3. The Launch: When you’re happy with the design, we’ll launch your new website. You’ll also receive recorded training videos on how to use your specific site, along with 30 days of free email support to answer any post-launch questions.

No problem. If you'd rather not manage updates yourself, I'm available for ongoing website maintenance, updates, and edits after the initial project is complete. Support can be provided at my hourly rate or through a retainer arrangement, depending on your needs. Happy to discuss options during our initial discovery call.

Typically, a project ranges around 2-4 weeks from start to finish. However, timelines may vary based on the project’s size and complexity, the availability of the initial content for the site, and the turnaround time for feedback. Ensuring that all necessary materials are prepared in advance and providing timely feedback will help keep the process moving efficiently.

Hiring a professional Squarespace web designer can range from $1,500 to $10,000+, depending on the size and complexity of the project, the number of features needed, and the amount of customization requested. A 50% deposit will be required to start the project and secure a spot in my calendar. Once the project is complete and the final design is approved, the remaining 50% balance will be due prior to website handover.

While my project fee is a one-time payment, Squarespace requires an active subscription to launch and keep your website live. Squarespace has several subscription plans to choose from, and each option offers different levels of features. The choice of plan will depend on the scope of the project and your goals for the website.

You may also have separate ongoing costs for your domain name or any premium third-party tools or integrations used on the site.

Ideally, you'll have your written website copy, images, logo, and other brand assets ready before the project begins. However, if you don't have everything yet, that's completely fine. We can still connect, discuss the project, and determine what you'll need before your scheduled start date.
